Halal

Export Halal in Malaysia organized by MATRADE where it serves as a link between Malaysian exporters and foreign buyers. MATRADE was operate since March 1993 under the Ministry of International Trade and Industry. MATRADE function were developing Malaysia's external trade with the focus on the export of products and services. The department is also working on creating marketing strategies for exporters and train them to conduct business relations with foreign countries. Before started the business relationship, Matrade will inquire the market conditions before allow exporters to do deal trade. Among the sub-sectors of the business done by the exporter is food, tourism, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and personal care products, food additives, dietary supplements, drugs vaccine, islamic banking, logistics, leather goods, insurance and media. Malaysia got a big chances in exportation since we got Malaysian halal certificate. This certificate is recognized at the international level, where it is 100% compliant with Islam. Halal Malaysia also adhere to good manufacturing practices and good hygiene practice in which the Malaysian halal concept includes  from aspects of food production until food preparation. Among the  feature of global halal market was not homogenous that it is means it characteristics are different . Among the characteristics is the culture, geography, cuisine, purchasing power, the level of adherence to the principles of Islamic countries. The highest purchasing power in halal export are China, Thailand, Japan and also including Jerman. Many products that the public is not aware of his legal status, people only know about food only , whereas this halal including pharmaceuticals and cosmetics as well. The countries that receive exports from Malaysia is China where this country has a Muslim population over 40 million people, Malaysia exported potatoes, cooking oil, bread, meat, snacks and other dietary products and more. These products are also exported to the UAE and Iran. In Iran there are more than 96 million muslim people. The programme that Malaysia has organized named MIHAS where it is for foreign buyer able to look at products from other countries exhibiting at the fair. MIHAS aims to market and introduce products that are made from other countries include Malaysia products. In 2016, Mihas received over 22,000 trade visitors from more than 70 countries and generated sales of outside RM1 Billion records for 600 participants
